Caleb woke up earlier
As always — first a run
Then a cool-down
He can’t help but smile
Because his girl always secretly watches him through the window while he’s doing his cool-down
He stands right under the windows on purpose
And she hides, sure no one can see her
Shower — and he’ll be back to bed with her
But today sleepyhead is still asleep
Caleb sits on the edge of the bed and waits for her
“Hey”
He turns
“Hey”
His girl, still half asleep
Her curls are messy
Her lips slightly swollen
Her brown eyes still sleepy but already shining
He takes a deep breath
God, she’s beautiful
A soft kiss
He leans in to kiss her
But she protests
“Caleb, no, I haven’t showered yet, I haven’t even washed my face”
“Oh God, no”
He looks straight at her
She blushes
She gets so shy with him
Something ancient wakes up in him
The beast starts to rise
He has ideas
Fantasies
The devil wants to play with his angel
He wants to pin her down
Be rough, insatiable
Make her arch and beg him for mercy
“My love?”
He looks at her again
And swallows
He doesn’t want to be like that anymore
Only if she asks for it
He’s changing for her
A tear rolls down his cheek
The angel’s face changes
She rushes to hug him
Her kindness, her sincerity — soften him even more
He doesn’t want to be selfish
He wants to love her
He wants to give her pleasure
He’ll be gentle
Careful
He kisses her
Gently lays her back on the bed
He kisses her
Touches her
His hand slides under her short nightgown — she arches instantly
She bites her lip, looking completely innocent
And it gets harder for him to hold the beast back
She knows him better than he knows himself
She whispers in his ear
“I don’t mind”
Caleb doesn’t need to be told twice
The beast breaks free
His girl arches, moaning without stopping
She begs him not to stop
Which is the last thing he plans to do
Darkness takes him over completely
And draws her into it
He starts to growl
To bite her
Until, satisfied, he collapses next to her
She goes to the shower
He sits nearby just to watch her blush and shy away
And finally he reaches for her again
The angel gasps, almost cries out — says he’s crazy
Yeah, he is
With her, he’s a crazy, insatiable man
Exactly like she says
Breakfast
She’s wearing his favorite skirt and a thin little top
She sits down to eat her favorite pancakes
Before the kids come
He starts teasing her
Playfully pinching her
Tugging at her skirt
She blushes, asks him to stop
But how could he
Making her flustered and blush — his favorite thing
Finally the kids come
A whole crowd of kids — the daycare ones too
He looks at her
The angel is glowing, her eyes shining
He knows — family is everything to her
He quietly wipes at his eyes
How lucky he is
A huge table covered in food
Dogs everywhere
Shameless, bold cats jumping right onto the table
Kids feeding the dogs
They lie there like lazy crocodiles waiting for something sweet
Cats stretch toward the kids
And toward his girl
The angel puts her food aside
She pets everyone who comes to her
That’s her nature — kindness
A cat sprawls right in front of her and knocks down a plate and juice
Caleb tenses up for a second
But his girl bursts into laughter
And he lets it go too
What are a few broken plates
Clothes can be changed
What matters is her and her bright laughter
She teaches him to see things differently
He exhales, relaxes
“You’re not mad, Mr. Caleb?”
He smiles
God, she’s adorable
The beast growls again
He wants her again
And again
She blushes
“Caleb, stop!”
He smiles
“Finish eating… then—”
